K160 Bitumen Emulsion

Bitumen Emulsion K1-60 is a cationic bitumen emulsion designed for road construction and maintenance applications. It consists of finely dispersed bitumen particles in water, stabilized with cationic emulsifiers, allowing it to adhere effectively to aggregates. This emulsion provides a uniform coating, ensuring strong binding and improving the durability of pavements. Its controlled viscosity and rapid setting characteristics make it suitable for surface dressing, tack coats, and other treatments where a reliable bond between the bitumen and aggregate is critical.

The K1-60 formulation meets stringent ASTM standards for binder content, particle charge, viscosity, and residue properties. Tests such as penetration, ductility, and solubility confirm its mechanical performance and consistency. With good storage stability and ease of handling, Bitumen Emulsion K1-60 offers a cost-effective and efficient solution for constructing and rehabilitating road surfaces, providing long-lasting performance and resistance to water damage and traffic wear.
